On Saturday 11 July 2026, a planned test of the UGent datacenter S10 Disaster Recovery Procedure (DRP) will take place. As a result, there will be no network access to/from the Tier1 Cloud setup throughout the day.
The Tier1 Cloud dashboard and all VMs won’t be reachable that day. Running VMs will keep running, but won’t be able to reach the internet. Local network connections (within Tier1 Cloud) and storage systems will not be affected.

For an electrical inspection of the UGent datacenter, all main power will have to be shut down.
Very likely, the Tier1 Cloud infrastructue will be offline.
